CARS AND PARTS FOR SALE Coupe 7 and 9's for sale in Bathhurst Click each picture to enlarge                     It’s with much sadness that I am looking to sell both of my Honda 1300s and the plethora of additional parts in my shed. I had always dreamed of restoring one as they were my grandfather’s but we are looking to move house so need to clear out the shed and I doubt I’ll ever have time to continue the job. The cars were brought to my father’s farm in the early nineties for temporary storage with the intention that my grandfather would retrieve them for restoration later in life. Sadly, that never happened, and the cars remained sitting in the paddock for the next twenty years. I retrieved them from said paddock eight years ago. The Coupe 7, I put in my own garage, the Coupe 9 is now stored in a shed at the farm. There are two cars, one Coupe 7 (Blue) and one Coupe 9 (Grey). My plan was originally to make one good car out of the two. The Coupe 7 has been mostly stripped of parts as this was the body I’d planned to restore. There is a fair amount of rust around the handbrake area and the boot floor. I believe it is salvageable though. I believe the engine for this car will require a rebuild as apparently it was blowing a lot of smoke when it was delivered to the farm. The interior of this car is in surprising condition given with few cracks in the dash and other than one seat that is missing the shroud that covers the rear of the seat, the seats aren’t too bad either. The Coupe 9 is a complete car. It has far too much rust to be salvageable. Most mechanical parts are salvageable. According to my father the engine in this car was rebuilt shortly before delivery to the farm so it should be in good shape. Interior is as expected and has many cracks in the dash and perished seats. Some years ago, Steve Evans who owns a lovely and lovingly restored white 1300 sold me two trailer loads of parts left over from restoring his car. These are also included in the sale. At this stage the cars will not be sold separately and I will not sell parts individually. I have no idea what they are worth so I’m open to reasonable offers. Pick up will be arranged by the buyer.
