It is not really a full restoration, more of a preservation. Geoff bought it all in pieces with some spares, many years ago. City, Country of delivery Australia Location (where it is now)    Modifications?    Parts available?    I have rebuilt the following: The engine has been rebored and fitted with new pistons and bearings. It was test run on my bench, but has not been run in the car. Brake master cylinder Brake booster. Rear brakes Disc calipers Carburettors have had “Heli coils” fitted to all float bowl attachment threads Door window winding mechanisms Exhaust system Strut mounts. Reconditioned in New Zealand. They came back absolutely perfect The following have been repainted: Exterior. It was done so long ago, it now needs some repair work Underside of car Engine bay Boot Under wheel arches Wheels Rear suspension and fuel tank. Removed, disassembled and refitted New spare parts are extremely hard to find. I have been unable to find any new brake discs. Some used parts, I have sourced from a contact in South Australia, who has some cars and has wrecked some others. All being well, I hope to get it all back together and then tidy up the interior. I also have a spare car in average condition. The spare car has only the single carburettor, but ran well before it was stored.
