Comments: Hello I am thinking of buying what is probably the only Coupe 7 in Sri Lanka. It is however a massive project with many panels that have rotted away and a disfigured face that will need total re-construction.
I would appreciate advice and guidence and would like to register on your forum. I have not been successful so far. Hope to hear from you. Thank you.
Comments: Great little car, Honda 9 in from Adelaide last month. Driven it a bit but has tappet/chain noise thats worrying me so am joining the forum to go fix. Be seeing you...
Comments: I once owned two red coupe 9's and a trailer load of parts. Unfortunately, despite chronic optimism they never reached the classic car status and value I hoped for. After selling the lot, I later managed to find a green one which had lighter door, bonnet and boot lid panels and adjustable shocks... all seemingly 'factory', the windscreen rubber was weird too and years later found that the glass was thinner too. I never discovered the story behind these changes other than the possibility of it being a homologated Japanese touring car special. How it got to Australia I'll never know... It was also good for 122mph on the dial. Loved those cars, so stable at speed, the perfect power band btw 80 -120kph and incredible stopping power and despite being narrow they were great handling cars. I could never understand why Honda ditched that engine design and went back too water cooled, wet sump shopping carts... They should be $100,000 Classics. Good luck to all of you who still have one. Cheers

Comments: I have one of these nice little cars which i bought from Australia. Its a coupe 9 in original paint with a full length foldable webasto roof. A good friend has helped get me the proper registration papers so I can register this for use. Any contacts for rubber parts like suspension and windscreen and door rubbers? Thanks

Comments: Hello all, just to tell that RKJ 775 M Coupe 7 is stil in my collection and it still smoking, but running. Regards Kaj Sorensen
Comments: We owned a Honda 7 coupe many years ago. On cleaning out our shed we have found two wheel rims and a spare windscreen. We would like to now sell them. Make an offer!
Comments: RKJ 775M was my car once upon a time. I bought it from Russell and sold it to Stan. It was registered in my mothers name as I was a young man and insurance was cheaper that way back then. I imported some parts from Japan, rebuilt the head and replaced the timing chain. It smoked a lot then as well!
